A quick note on Notion AI, because I think this part gets misunderstood.

I don’t use AI everywhere.
And I definitely don’t treat it like a magic button.

The rule I follow is simple:
AI should reduce friction, not create more decisions.

Inside my Notion system, I really use AI for three things:

First, clarity.
When a project feels fuzzy, I’ll ask AI to summarize what I’m actually trying to do and what matters right now.

Second, next actions.
Instead of staring at a project page, I’ll ask AI to break it down into obvious, doable steps.

Third, reviews.
Short weekly check-ins where AI helps surface what’s stale, what’s done, and what needs attention.

That’s it.

No fancy automations.
No long prompt chains.
No “AI runs my life” setup.

Just small moments where thinking usually feels heavy, made lighter.
